Documentation QuikSite
This website is not really a website. It is documentation for QuikSite and it is test material
for a facility which will create a help system from the same format that is source material for websites.
The following are general topics created for websites, possibly applicable to help systems.
1) determine website name & path for local version of website
2) select a template
3) create an empty support file for the new website
4) enroll the file & path in the QuikSite System
5) define icon graphics, e-mail address & metatags
6) define website structure (CAREFUL WORK NEEDED HERE)
7) define miscellaneous parameters
8) create directory path & directories for local version of website
9) create graphics & add to the resources subdirectory (assets or images)
9a) transfer graphics for web pages that all web sites might have
9b copy graphics for buttons special to this website (LATER ADD TEXT)
9c) transfer blank logo files (LATER REPLACE WITH LOGO)
9d) transfer blank title graphic files (LATER ADD TEXT OR GRAPHIC)
9e) transfer standard e-mail button files
10) assemble source material (USUALLY TEXT & GRAPHICS, HERE ONLY 2 TEXTS)
11) compile local version of website
12) load the home page in your browser for quality control scrutiny
13) verify there are no broken links (new from wrp called LinkBot)
14) upload local version of website to server (a better way is needed)
