Urban Land Institute

The real estate development industry has a superb professional association called the Urban Land Institute (ULI) located in DC. It has just published an excellent 397 page book called "Professional Real Estate Development" which presents case studies we can use. The author is a professor at Harvard School of Design to whom I think I have easy access. We can use his case studies and his book will give us profound context. I want very much to get past APL programming and start implementing our contemporary case studies which are "Gug", "FHFC", and now this new book with the following:

5 types of development most common

  1. Land Subdivision Development (pages 58-121)
  2. Multifamily Residential Development (pages 128-208)
  3. Office Development (pages 212-251)
  4. Industrial Development (pages 254-297)
  5. Retail Development (pages 300-353)

There is one case study needed and I'll invent an illustration for it: "Homebuilding" (single family).
