Work program
"Gug" refers to a rather simple format developed and taught by Joe Guggenheim, one of the nation's most respected experts on the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC). The arithmetic for the LIHTC is relatively complicated, and potential customers are readily accessible thru Joe's book, thru Enterprise Foundation, and thru the state agencies who administer the program.
Joe sent me his "latest preferred form" on May 1, 2001 (2 pages). It is behind tab "K" in the book Carl gave Davin while in Dallas last September or so. His older form is behind tab "I" and Carl's adaptation of it is behind tab "J" and also at the link below (Tax Credits for Low Income Housing, 11th Edition).
These forms are different from our "views" because they are not rectalinear and probably shouldn't be done with the apl grid control. The 50 or so "views" Carl has implemented with the Phoenix facility are all numeric matrices (or nested arrays) with row headings and column headings identified with certain names.
Davin should develop this form to develop our standards about how to implement a free style form. (The fact that the lines don't line up in the right hand column is not intentional; it is simply that when Joe e-mailed me the file it did not print well on my computer. I'll try to find his file, but a quick search did not turn it up.)
