Data
ProCash and Landev are calculating engines that are not encumbered by a user interface.
They must remain that as a user interface is built which empowers the user
to take full advantage of the caculating powers of these "black boxes".
Several principles (discussed in this work program) will make this possible.
Most important among these principles is that no calculations or
storage or definitions of data are dependent on what user interface is being used.
Data will be exchanged between the calculating engine and the user interface
in the form of PVPs and PVMs which the user interface will be empowered to interpret.
(Thanks to Chris Lee and SoftMed for giving us the conceptual means to articulate this
and to Eric Landau and James Merrill for helping us implement it.)
