Priorities for Carl

These are tasks on my mind as I contemplate setting this project aside on 7/29/03. This first group is essential to giving a demo and starting revenue.

• Create the M3M which is the result of a ProCash run (M3MJ).
• Catch up in use of Phoenix as Davin has designed it.
  1. input error checking (Davin is to tell me about a line of code to use)
  2. what views are enabled (because data exists for them).
  3. drop down boxes (list boxes I think they are called) are important, I'm not using any now, is that part of Phoenix ?
• create 'c:\dv\dv\formatprops.sf' with Format_PVM as 'c:\dv\dv\inputprops.sf' was created by Input_PVM
• provide for storing user inputs, put our 14 selected test data sets there for demos.
• make Gug (with ProCash) run without need to write on files so it will run on demo CD, put it on a CD for testing.
• complete specs & structure for use of apl grid control so Eric Baelen will have it as a starting place for Excel.
• figure out what's needed to have a minimal product that customers can use (with my close support).

The following are not essential to giving a demo and starting revenue. They are important to our having a solid foundation and mustn't be forgotten.

• analyze Gug design & improve (see GugFNS)
  1. make form specs clear
  2. make form specs as easy to specify as possible using 8800 11 et al.
• make fmPVP_Make able to do precisely the job of fmANY_Make, then rename it to fmANY_Make.
• FHFC, do these 4 forms in a way that fleshes out our system for articulating forms, views and documents.
• make scratch file work right in Windows "temp", see fns qkScratchFile SystemFolderNames ‘Registry

The following have been completed (at least for now).

• (done 8/1/03) make pvTXT appear in Davin's new box at top of Gug form
• (workaround done 8/1/03) get the bug in the apl grid control fixed so def refresh works right for Gug
• (done 7/30/03) RUNDATA makes C:\PDF\htm\qksource\TestM3Ms.sf change due only to time stamp changes, should sense this & avoid query.
• (done 7/30/03) carefully run RUNDATA: retrieved 8894 8893 from 6/25/03 backup: 8893 dated 5/29/03, 8894 dated 7/26/02, RUNDATA not run, 8893 dir fixed
