Product Extensions

ProCash & Landev do the core arithmetic on the profitability (feasibility) for real estate development. There are a broad range of disciplines and tasks that contribute to this core arithmetic. Some will easily lend themselves to product extensions.

1. A database of standard costs to aid in setting inputs for construction costs. Enterprise Foundation has one we could start with in it's Housing Developer Pro.
2. A database of market data to aid in setting inputs for rent and operating expense. HUD has a place to start for this.
3. The construction process is complicated, including construction, marketing, financing and public approvals. Each of these four arenas can be exceedingly complicated. ProCash & Landev allow inputs to be set at a high level, skipping over this complexity. But product extensions could help developers deal with the complexity that underlies projects.
